A shared routine. Individual goals.

Track calories together, with goals of your own

Share the meals you eat together without sharing one calorie target. Each of you has your own account, food diary, portions, and goals—with a group that brings you together.

Same dinner. Your own portion.

When a partner shares a food entry, copy it into your diary and adjust the amount you ate. You can enjoy the same dish while recording different portions.

Separate entries. Separate goals.

At 150 kcal per 100 g, a 300 g portion is 450 kcal and a 400 g portion is 600 kcal. These are separate diary entries; later edits do not automatically sync between them.Sample figures explain the workflow; they are not personal nutrition targets.

Make it part of your day

  1. Create a group

Start with your own Caloroo account and create a group for the two of you. Each person keeps an individual diary and targets.

  2. Invite your partner

Send an invite link. Your partner signs in with their own account, joins the group, and chooses what to share.

  3. Copy and adjust

Open shared food entries, copy them into your own day, then edit your portion. The copied entry belongs to your diary.

Choose what you share

Sharing settings work by category: food, targets, weight, steps, check-ins, and workouts. Photos have their own visibility setting. You can share food entries while keeping other categories, such as weight, private.

Sharing food makes food entries visible to the group; there is no separate totals-only food setting. A group is not limited to couples, so review its membership before sharing personal information.

A few things to know

Do we both need a Caloroo account?

Yes. Each partner uses their own account and joins the same group. That keeps your diaries, goals, and sharing settings separate.

Can we have different portions and calorie goals?

Yes. Copy a shared food entry into your own day and edit the portion you ate. Your goals stay individual. Copying creates an independent entry, so subsequent edits are not automatically synchronized.

What can my partner see?

Group members can see the categories you enable in your sharing settings. Food sharing exposes food entries, not just a daily calorie total. You can control weight, targets, steps, check-ins, workouts, and photo visibility separately.

Can both of us use the free plan?

Yes. Each Free account can create or join one group and access the latest 90 days of history. That group can be the one you share as a couple. Older records are preserved, and full data export stays free. Premium adds more groups and access to full history.
