Set your calorie targets
Choose your targets in Caloroo. Your daily base targets form the budget shown for your configured week.
Enable flexible calories
Turn on flexible calories to adjust daily targets within the week. You can also keep fixed daily targets.
Log, then review the week
Add the food you eat and keep your logging complete. Review daily totals, your weekly budget, and the next day’s projection.
Flexibility with clear boundaries
Adjustments stay inside your configured week and restart with the next one. An unfinished day is not automatically treated as calories saved. Completed days contribute their difference from the base target; an unfinished day can contribute once its logged calories exceed its adaptive target.
Minimum and maximum adjustment limits apply. If the remaining difference cannot be absorbed within those limits, Caloroo shows it as unresolved rather than promising a perfectly balanced week.
A few things to know
How is weekly tracking different from daily tracking?
You still log food each day. The weekly view brings those daily totals together, while optional flexible calories adjusts daily targets using earlier logged days in the same week. Fixed daily targets remain available.
When do flexible calorie targets adjust?
When flexible calories is enabled, completed days contribute their difference from the base target. An unfinished day can also contribute once logged calories exceed its adaptive target. A partially logged day does not automatically create extra calories for later.
Do unused calories roll over into next week?
No. Adjustments are calculated within your configured week. The next week starts fresh, and adjustment limits can leave part of the current week’s difference unresolved.
Is weekly calorie tracking free?
Core food logging and weekly tracking are available on Free. Free includes access to the latest 90 days of history and one group membership per account. Older records are preserved; Premium provides access to full history. Your full data export stays free.
